Back to Just Two

Meals are served warm.

With a break for burps.

Nolan had all his water toys out to play with.

We went for a bike ride.

Then came back and went for a wagon ride.

And finally, made our last trip out in the stroller.

Gramma insisted we had to go in to check on Grampa,

after the third trip.

Nolan has his first calzone.

Grampa made his with his own gluten free crust.

He loved it, which made it all worthwhile.

Nolan loves Handy Manny, his first seek'n'find book.

It's just a short leap to Where's Waldo?, a favorite of his Daddy.

Nolan cannot have peanut butter, so we tried hummus spread.

It must stick to the roof of his mouth, like peanut butter.

He likes it on bananas.

I'm sure Ryan Joseph is thinking, "And I ended up with Dad's old black Pulsar."

That car ran pretty well until it ran out of oil.

He thought it was cheaper to add it at home.

Grampa Piggie Plans a Party

Grampa Piggie got a call from his grandsons, Mousie and Piggie.  They were coming for a visit.  Grampa Piggie was so happy that he was going to see Piggie and Mousie.  He began to plan for their visit.  

Grampa Piggie made a list of all the things Mousie and Piggie liked to eat.  He made a list of what he needed to get to cook the food they liked.  He sent Gramma Mousie to shop for the food.  

He made a list of what to cook first and what to cook last.  He baked food in the oven and he cooked food on the grill.  He looked at his list and did all the things on the list.  Gramma Mousie had to do lots of dishes.

When the list was done, he made a plan for fun things to do with Mousie and Piggie.  He put fun things on a list.  He will take them to the park and the farm and will play fun games with them.  And Gramma Mousie will have Piano Camp so they can play the piano well.  Grampa Piggie likes that Mousie and Piggie can play the piano so well.

Grampa Piggie likes lists.  He likes to cook for Mousie and Piggie.  He likes to play with them, too.  He is happy they are coming to see him.  

He will miss them when they go.  He will make a list of what they will do when he and Gramma Mousie go to see them.
