Nolan and Seth stayed overnight
at Gramma and Grampa's.
They wake up in the same condition
Grampa wakes up each morning.
Nila, Micaela and their parents also stayed with us.
They seem to be wide awake, and ready to solve the day's puzzles.
Gramma made Nolan a mango-coconut popsicle.
I think it was his first popsicle.
He learned the challenge is to eat faster than it melts.
Seth is worried the food supply may be lower with extra girls here.
Seth has his popsicle with a spoon.
It's much easier on Grampa.
The boys have started to play coffee shop.
They shop for their coffee in Gramma's pantry.
They have a little table for customers.
Gramma can be counted on as a regular.
They also serve bacon, eggs, and lots of cream in the coffee.
They love Gramma's bags of coffee.
Grampa is explaining he doesn't think it's a good thing to play with.
Seth is checking out what Gramma has to say about it.
He's going with Gramma's theory.
The coffee won't spill out of a closed bag.
He only has 6 teeth, but he's even shorter on hands.
Grampa makes an excellent loaf of artisan bread.
We went to the playground to play.
You have to be quick to get a picture of Seth still at the top of the slide.
And you have to be even faster with the camera
for Nolan, who loves to climb.
Gramma usually follows him as he climbs.
It's quicker than trying to run around the equipment,
as he moves from one side to another.
I didn't have a chance to take a selfie.
I had to keep up with Nolan.
Nolan teaches one of the girls to play pinball.
Hide and Seek Story
Nolan suggested to Grampa (on his Wednesday at the boys' house),
"Let's play hide and seek. You go hide."
Grampa hesitated and then explained, "I can't really hide. I have to keep an eye on Seth."
Grampa explained hide and seek works better at Gramma's house,
where she can keep an eye on Seth.
