Goedken Cousins

The gentlemen went on the road,
so Gramma and Grampa stayed at home,
 and waited for the postcards.

It's time to teach Nolan how to play Noks Hockey.
Gramma used to direct a playground and taught children to play.
Gramma has made certain that all the Goedken children have this game.
All our children's cousins got this game, as well.

Seth thinks he will play Noks Hockey better,
if he has a bigger stick.

Nolan is cutting the astro-turf for Uncle Ryan Joseph.
Gramma is concerned about the outgassing.

The boys look like they have a recording studio,
but this is their set-up for skype piano lessons.

The only thing better than riding a saucer swing...

is riding it with someone.

California Dreamer

"Does anyone know I'm here?"

The Hulk must live in California.

Goedkens of all ages enjoy puzzles.

Goedkens enjoy the world of books.

I'm so glad to be here, Cousin.

It's a good thing, Nathan and Andrew learned to read early.

And since there are two of them, there's twice as many stories that get read.

The world of books, is a cozy place for cousins.

Goedkens love roller coasters.

The mind is willing, but the flesh is weak.
The roller coaster will have to wait for naptime to be over.

Three little speckled frogs,
sat on a speckled log...

They should design all cars with a bell and a rope.

Naptime's over.
Where are the rides?

A train ride through Happy Hollow.

These rocks are heaven for a boy.

Lunch time is always a favorite of Seth's.

"Thank you for reading to me."

How long until dinner, Aunt Jeni?

Two engineers, should be able to figure out a better design for a beach stroller.

"That's the ocean?  I thought it was deeper."

"Daddy, when do they shut off the waves?"

"I'm not afraid of the dark."

This is actually the inside of a favorite redwood tree,
that has become hollowed out through the years.
We never knew, because the opening is in the back of the tree.
When Nolan went walking around the tree without returning,
his Daddy went to find him.
It was a bit scary, to lose your child in the forest.
The inside of the tree is pitch black,
but Nolan likes dark places.
He prefers Gramma's pantry with the lights off.

Two California dudes.

Goedkens love board games.

"Kitty, can I taste your lunch?"
