Grampa had a special date with Nolan to see a comedy juggler.
It was Nolan's first experience at a children's show.
During the show, the juggler asked one of the children, "And what's your name young lady?"
The child with long curly blonde hair responded, "John. I'm a boy."
Sitting next to John was a younger sibling with a strong resemblance.
Not wanting to be caught again, the juggler said, "and you two are..."
to which they responded in unison, "Brothers."
Grampa was entertained by the dialogue.
Nolan has decided he does NOT want to be a juggler.
Grampa can't even make a gluten-free coffee cake,
without making certain all the cherries are in perfect alignment.
Usually he uses a spring form pan,
but Rebecca had not returned it, yet.
Nolan and Grampa decide to build quickly,
while Seth has his nap.
The blocks Grampa designed to raise the piano bench,
also work as snow shoes.
Seth stays close to his big brother.
He knows Nolan is the one to keep an eye on.
All he wants is to grow up to be Nolan II.
Nolan doesn't seem to mind having a shadow.
Nolan thinks it will be funny to teach Seth
to do things he will get in trouble for.
Eating play-doh is definitely not something Mommy and Daddy will like.
Seth likes to read to Grampa.
It's a gut wrenching book about astronauts.
Nolan did not jail his brother.
Seth saw that Nolan had created a private space for him
and decided it was perfect.
As the youngest engineer in the family,
Seth already knows even great things can be improved.
A puma would be better with wheels.
Thanks Uncle Jim and Aunt Andrea!
You certainly know how to make a birthday boy happy.
Having four boys of your own, makes you pros.
Seth likes his birthday present.
It has his only requirements; wheels.
Seth and Nolan put on their jammies,
before they head for home.
Grampa doesn't understand why he can't get his on at the same time.
Winter shows her face one last time.
It's beautiful;
especially when you know spring is coming soon.
