Christmas Day Secrets

Matt and Megan and my four grandsons.
One is in vitro.
One is in the Hulk costume.

This is pretty scary coming down the hall.
Or up behind you.

These are the boots we came up with for the boys.
Every time I had to run out to the grocery store,
Grampa would say, "You brought home more boots!"
I explained they were running a special on them and giving them away.

We teach them to play cards young.
Kevin almost has it down, now.
At least, he and Matt beat Grampa.
Grampa blamed his cards.

The boys may each have an ipad to play with,
but they always keep an eye on what the other one is doing.

Polar Express was enjoyed by all.
Even Mousie watched it.

Mousie is 64 years old.  He had a birthday while he was at our house.
Mousie is an extraordinary mouse.
He is afraid of nothing, can play the piano with his feet and is an Olympic coach.
Anything we can do, Mousie does better.
He's a great friend for a little boy to have.

Auntie Becca got Nolan his own grocery cart for Christmas.
He is now shopping in the refrigerated section of Gramma's Mart.

"I think this store may be closing."

Nolan is interested in sports as much as Kevin.
I don't think it matters what's on television,
if Kevin likes it, Nolan does, too.

"I've got to make a quick dash to the grocery store
before bed."

"Kevin, why do you always have the joker?
Shouldn't you let Grampa have it once in awhile?"

When the adults play cards,
they give Nolan a few to play with.
He has his own joker.

We can also practice skating on the treadmill.
It's such a versatile machine.
Some time I'm going to see if you can walk on it.
