Nolan bumped his head on the corner of the wall (at his house) and got a nasty cut.
He was too traumatized to have all the blood removed at the time.
Grampa anesthetized him with the TV, so he could finish treating it.
Perhaps TV does have some positive aspects.
Grampa's helper is always eager to do dishes.
Notice the bowl Grampa gives him to hold under the water.
Grampa made Megan's favorite birthday cake, sort of.
She likes German chocolate cake, but was avoiding nuts during her pregnancy.
Grampa substituted chocolate chips for the pecans.
Instead of cake, he substituted brownies made with dark chocolate.
She did get real birthday candles on her cake, though.
Nolan had his own dessert; blackberry cobbler and coconut ice cream..
"Life is so good!"
"No, I'm not ticklish."
Even natural foods can induce a sugar coma.
"Are you ticklish, Daddy?"
"Got my ringside seat for the fire."
"Are you sure we can't toast any marshmallows?"
Welcome home, Seth.
"What kind of hospital was I in?
It feels like a straight jacket."
"Please don't let Gramma comb my hair again."

Mousie Likes the Snow
by Gramma
What can a mouse do in the snow? They can get out a sled and slide down a hill. They like to go fast. Lots of mice can fit on the sled. But it is hard to push the sled up the hill. It is good if Grampa can push the sled back up the hill. Then the mice can ride up the hill slow and down the hill fast.
After Grampa gets tired of pushing the sled up the hill, Gramma can make hot chocolate to drink. Mice do not like the chocolate too hot. They like it with white marshmallows on top. It makes the mice feel warm and helps them sleep.
Mousie likes to sleep in Auntie Becca's bed. She has a green blanket to keep Mousie warm. If Mousie wakes up, he can call for Gramma and Grampa. They can get him a cup to sip from if he needs it. Or they can tell him there are no cats in the house, if he cannot sleep.
