Baby Rules

Grampa, remember to save some for me.

Baby Rule #1:  If there's an opening, you must go through it.

It purrs and glows, but I can't figure out how to ride it.

Grampa's checking to see if Gramma cleaned up here lately.

I'll check whether she cleaned down here.

Baby Rule #2:  If it has wheels, it's supposed to be taken apart.

Baby Rule #3:  If it opens, I need to check inside.
Gramma has this one filled with all kinds of things for me.

Gramma and Grampa are taking me out for my first Mexican dinner.

I think he must have bad breath.  Someone put mints in his mouth.
You're never supposed to turn down a mint if someone offers it.

I'm not certain when the bull riding starts, but if Grampa tries it, I will too.

The Daily Double from California

The boys love that fountains in California never have to be wrapped up and put away for the winter.

The bassist at the farmers' market allowed the boys to pluck the strings of his bass.
He was a little surprised when the boys said they were doing "pizzicato."
The bass is a step bigger than 2 Cellos.

Why do people think California is such a strange place?  It has McDonalds.

Like Gramma, Nathan enjoys reading his books.  While skyping on Friday, Andrew "read" The Very Quiet Cricket to Gramma, Grampa and Nolan.  Nolan was very entertained.

Witch boy is this?

When you throw pennies into a wishing pond,
I don't think you're supposed to try to take them out again.
But it would be very tempting.

Gramma is looking forward to going with the boys to the farmers' market.
They liked the bluegrass band the best.

Nathan is ready to fight the California fires.

Nathan helps prepare a birthday cake for Daddy.
It looks like he's learned to keep the beaters in the bowl.

Andrew hops on his hoppy ball.  Gramma just sits on hers when she teaches.
