Nolan thinks, "My own set of wheel.".
Nathan thinks, "Has anyone bothered to read the directions?"
The boys got Candyland for Christmas and played it right away. After finishing the game, Nathan's dad asked if he'd like to play again. He said., "Yes, but could Grampa not play, because I want to win."
Our children can attest to the fact that their father, unlike their mother never made it easy for them, to win a game. After thoroughly defeatng his children in a game of Monopoly, they got up from the table and left. He called them back to put away the game. They explained that Mom had declared that the winner had to put the game away. It kept the winner from gloating and made the loser feel better. Their father never heard of anything so ridiculous, but proceeded to put the game away. It never persuaded him to give up the idea he was playing for the farm, though.
Nathan can put his Curious George puzzle together faster than any adult in the room.

After sleigh riding, Andrew told me Mommy used to make them hot chocolate when they came inside. Of course, we made the hot chocolate here, too.
Poor Daddy was sick when they arrived here. Gramma explained that it would be a good idea to use a Netti pot. The boys were interested in seeing this demonstration. Gramma explained the health benefits and asked if they would like to try it. Andrew immediately headed for the door, but Nathan thought he give it a try. With assurances that he could change his mind at any time, we began to mix salt water. When the Neti pot got to his nose, however, "I've changed my mind, I've changed my mind," was strongly proclaimed.
During the boys bath, they asked for a repeat demonstration. At this point, their father headed for the door, pleading mercy. Nathan put his hands on his hips and said, "Daddy, it just cleans out your germs, your snot and your boogers. Don't you want your nose to be clean?" Apparently his father didn't, because he kept running.
